APRIL SHOWERS IN THE TUB

This is my latest painting.  The image is painted on yellow polka dot fabric.  I covered a masonite board with the fabric, sealed the surface until it was very smooth and then I start my painting.  I choose fabrics that I love and work my design around the fabric.

This is one of my newer paintings.  Lately I've been interested in painting on fabric.  For this painting I covered a masonite board with fabric, sealed the surface until it was smooth (it took fifteen coats of sealer) and then I painted my design.  I'm thinking that I'd like to make a calendar with my mermaids.  I've finished four mermaids so far.  If you have any questions about this painting I'd love to hear from you.
