I LOVE TO PAINT A MEMORY

Joan Augustino: I am a folk artist whose paintings celebrate life's special moments. Sometimes I paint quaint New England village scenes and sometimes I paint a bride and groom smiling happily on their wedding day. My objective (and hope) as an artist is for the viewer to connect emotionally with my work. Perhaps my painting will make the viewer smile or remind them of a pleasant memory. I live on Cape Cod with my husband, John and our sweet greyhound, Bella.
